What does Demonstratio do?
You record a workflow in your browser. Every click becomes a step that captures the screen you were on, with a hotspot on the thing you clicked. You trim the steps you don't want, blur anything sensitive, and publish it as a link or an embed that people click through at their own pace.
Is the demo just a set of screenshots?
No. We capture the page itself rather than a photograph of it, so the text in your demo stays sharp at any size and reads like your product rather than a blurry image of it. It also means you can edit a captured step later — correct a label, change a number, swap a logo — instead of recording the whole workflow again.
What happens when my product's UI changes?
If it's a wording change — a renamed button, a new price, an updated label — you edit that step and republish. You only need to record again when the workflow itself changes, not every time a word on the screen does.
Is this going to be expensive?
We haven't published exact prices yet. We are planning a free tier for real work and flat plans rather than per-seat pricing. Prices will be available when the product launches.
Do I need a developer to set it up?
No. You record in a browser extension and edit in a web app. Embedding is a one-line iframe snippet, and there are React and Vue snippets if you'd rather drop a component in.
Can I hide customer names, revenue, and other sensitive data?
Yes, and it isn't a paid add-on. You can blur any region or element, or redact it behind a cover label you write yourself, on any step. Password, token, payment, and OTP fields are also stripped from captured form metadata automatically.
Does it work on any website?
Any site you can open in a Chrome tab, including apps behind a login, since you're recording your own screen. Browser-internal pages like chrome:// and local files are blocked by Chrome itself.
What happens to a link I've already shared when I edit the demo?
Nothing. Publishing takes an immutable snapshot, so edits to your draft never change what's live. When you publish again the same URL serves the new version, and you can preview or restore any earlier one.
Can I get a video out of it?
Yes. Demos export as an MP4 at 720p or 1080p, rendered in your browser rather than on a server, with per-slide timing you control. The guided pointer animation carries into the video.
Can I use it today?
Not yet. Demonstratio is in development and there's no signup or trial. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when it opens.
