What interactive demo software really costs in 2026

Prices in this category change quickly, and the number on a third-party article may no longer match the vendor’s current plan. Supademo’s pricing page lists $50 per month, or $38 on annual billing; Arcade lists $50, or $42.50 annually.

The figures below were checked against each vendor’s pricing page in August 2026 and link back to the source. If you are reading this later, verify the current price before budgeting against it — this table will go stale too.

Two of these are not interactive demo tools. Scribe and Tango produce written step-by-step guides; Guidde produces narrated how-to video. We included them because they show up in the same searches and get compared to the same products, and because the pricing patterns are identical across all six.

Start with the free tier

Look at the middle column instead. The entry price tells you what one person pays. The free tier tells you whether you can evaluate the tool at all, and the free tiers here differ by a factor of five.

Supademo gives you five published demos. Arcade and Storylane give you one. That is the largest publishing difference in this table. A one-demo free plan can still be useful for evaluation, but it limits how many workflows you can keep live at once.

That gives buyers a way to evaluate the product without a time limit, but the publishing limit is important: a free plan with one live demo is different from a free plan you can use for several active workflows.

The feature that decides it

One practical distinction matters beyond the headline price:

Blurring or redacting sensitive data is a paid feature at Scribe, Arcade, and Guidde.

• Scribe: redaction requires Pro.
• Arcade: blur sits in the premium set, alongside autoplay, pan and zoom, branching, CTAs, forms, and translations.
• Guidde: “blur sensitive information” is a Pro feature.

A product walkthrough often starts in your own account, which may contain customer names, revenue figures, or a colleague’s email address. If those details are visible, you need a privacy control before publishing the recording.

For customer-facing work, that means the free tier may require an upgrade before you can publish a recording from a real account.

Demonstratio’s planned free tier includes blur and redaction so teams can prepare recordings from real workflows for sharing.

What three people actually pay

Single-seat pricing is the number on the page. Team pricing is the number on the invoice.

Two things stand out.

Scribe’s Pro Team has the lowest per-seat price here, but a five-seat minimum. At $13 a seat, a three-person team pays $65 a month for five seats. It is still the lowest total in the table, but the minimum changes the calculation. Scribe’s Pro Personal at $25 avoids the minimum and is single-seat, which puts a three-person team back at $75.

Storylane’s second tier is a cliff. Starter is $40 a month. The next plan up is $500 a month. There is nothing between them. Personalization tokens, the HTML editor, multi-team support, A/B testing — all $500. If you build a process on Starter and then need one of those things, your bill multiplies by twelve in a single step. Arcade has a version of this too: additional Growth seats beyond the included ten cost $150 a month each.

AI is now a pricing dimension

Every tool in this category except Scribe and Tango now meters AI:

• Arcade allocates credits: 200 a month on free, 800 on Growth, 100,000 a year on Enterprise.
• Storylane meters AI video avatar minutes: 20 on Starter, 125 on Growth, 250 on Premium.
• Supademo puts AI voice cloning and demo agents on the higher tiers.
• Guidde gates unlimited text-to-voice at Business and PII redaction at Enterprise.

If you use those features, that is a fair way to charge. The awkward case is the team that does not. You are not billed separately for the AI infrastructure, but you are not billed less for skipping it either — the plan that includes 800 credits costs $50 whether you spend them or not.

Demonstratio is not including AI features in its initial product, so there are no AI credits to manage. We are building a smaller demo tool for teams that need capture, editing, privacy, and sharing without the additional platform features.

What we recommend today

Demonstratio is still in development and is not available yet. If you need a tool this week:

• Solo, tight budget, and you need to publish more than one thing: Supademo’s free tier. Five demos with unlimited views is the largest free allocation in this table.
• You need written SOPs rather than clickable demos: Scribe’s free tier, if your content is internal. If it is customer-facing you will need Pro for redaction, so budget $25 a month.
• Polish matters more than price: Arcade. It is the benchmark for a reason, and the free plan is enough to judge whether it is worth $42.50 a month.
• You are a B2B sales team with a demand-gen motion: Storylane, and read the Growth tier carefully before you commit to Starter.

Whichever tool you choose, verify the current plan on the vendor’s pricing page before you buy. Pricing and feature limits change.
